Our story
Orix AI was founded by Listin Gumbi in 2012 under the name Hashtag99 in Johannesburg. The vision was pan-African from day one. We saw what African enterprises needed and what the market was failing to provide.
We rebranded as Orix AI and planted our flag in Zimbabwe. Not because it was the easiest market. Because it is home. Because the opportunity here is immense. And because Zimbabwe deserves a world-class AI partner that understands its terrain.
Today, our team includes strategists, engineers, trainers, and researchers. Together, we form what we call the Orix Quartet. Four disciplines. One mission.
